Okay, so among the many parts of lawyer's bill the the taxpayers of Loudoun County apparently picked up from the Ting-Yi Oei case was the following:

The key here is the facility more than the team. What Major League Soccer teams have been building are typically 18-22,000 seat venues with a dozen or more outlying fields at the complex. I'd submit those fields are worth the "cost" of a venue that size - it is always shocking the pathetic state of athletic fields in Loudoun County.

How Reporters and Bloggers want to get their "news"

There is a ton of talk about how PR firms are a dying breed. That's true to an extent.

With the advent of social media networks and direct connections to the "news" it takes and adaptive and aggressive PR firm to get the message out.

Recently on twitter, a blogger complained about a PR firm (not me!) that just sent a blind email to a mass list that said "see attached" (http://twitter.com/TammiM). She's right, this was never, ever a good way of distributing information, but especially these day… Continue
